Blue Sky Sunny Day!
February 10, 2013 - Author: Fallen sky - No CommentsTruly amazing mother nature knows just how to clean up her own messes. Today it’ll be in the mid-30’s and some of this snow will start to melt. I finally coaxed the flock out of the coop after scraping up as much snow as I could in the run. Nice “spring mix” treat lured them to come down. Sammi was still on the fence about the whole idea and May and Flower decided to lay eggs instead. (Never a bad thing) At least they can get to the water, which was my biggest concern yesterday.
Flock pecking at the spring mix in the suet feeder. I got the large hook at a yard sale for 0.50 cents.
Sammi hiding inside the coop she’s not so sure, and hates the snow
Martha and Clara take advantage
The run of the coop looking terrible. I scarped up the snow so they could come down
Beautiful day!

Untouched snow makes pretty shadows
1pm- 5 eggs Walked up to my friend’s house for some much needed hay for the nesting boxes. They were all down in the run, having a blast being out and about. Weather has been so pretty today. Nestings boxes all refreshed.
